Richard Faust, age 43, of Bellaire, TX passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015. Born September 10, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York, Rich served in the U.S. Navy for four years and later obtained an electrical engineering degree from Clarkson University in upstate New York. He moved to Houston to work for Texas Instruments in 1998, where he met Cheryl Kula, his future wife. They married in 2000 in Roswell, Georgia and then moved to Brooklyn, New York, to take a new position with Texas Instruments. After the birth of their first child, Olivia, due to 9/11, the family moved back to Houston and later had Ella. Richard earned an MBA from the University of Texas. He later became a successful owner of Southern Concrete Raising. Richard was active in the community and devoted to his family. He was a CCE teacher at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for over 5 years and had been a soccer coach for Houston Recreational Girls Soccer Team.

Richard is survived by his loving family, wife, Cheryl Kula Faust, and daughters, Olivia Susan (age 13) and Ella Rose (age 10). He is also survived by a sister, Shanon Faust Weiss and her husband, Spencer Weiss and their daughters, Amber and Samantha from Katy and his brother, Timothy Faust and his wife, Tashina, and daughter, Amelia, and mother Constance Faust, of Orlando, Florida.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday evening between 7-9pm at Levy Funeral Directors 4525 Bissonnet St Bellaire, TX. A small, private burial service will be held at Houston National Cemetery the following morning. A memorial service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX officiated by Msgr. Bill Young, at 2pm Tuesday, June 16th.
