Robert F. "Bob" Schoenberger, age 60, of 1906 N. Main St., passed away at 10:02 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2013, at home of natural causes surrounded by family. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St. with Rev. Dianne Grace, officiating. To celebrate Bob's life friends may visit from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

Bob was born January 7, 1953 in Dubuque, Iowa–
Son of Donald M. "Cy" and Irma J. (Atchison) Schoenberger

Bob graduated from Dubuque Senior High School and the University of Iowa with a Business Degree. He was formerly employed at Dubuque Iron and Metal which became Alter Metal Recycling for over 20 years until his retirement.

He collected coins and pocket knives and enjoyed video games and playing
Euchre and Poker. Bob especially liked spending time with his family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Karen Higgins;

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Dubuque,
especially Barb and Angie, for their care and concern for Bob.
