Reverend Robert Gates Condrey, age 82, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away in his sleep early Tuesday Morning, September 26, 2017. A peaceful conclusion to a wonderful life. He was born October 5, 1934 in Oatmeal, Texas to his parents Roy Elijah Thompson Condrey and Elva Wilkinson.

Reverend Condrey served 52 years of Ministry with the United Pentecostal Church International, was Pastor of four churches and pioneered two church works.

He worked as a Navy Recruit Chief Petty Officer, Journeyman Electrician, and Rancher/Cowboy. Reverend Condrey was a Storyteller Extraordinaire, author of two popular books, a recorded/published musician, and a world traveler. He always placed the greatest values on God, his family, church, and his country.

He was preceded in death by his two sons: Anthony Shane (Tony) and Robert II (Rob). Robert will be forever remembered by his wife Floydene (Gibson) Condrey of 56 years. He is also survived by two sons, Steven Dale Condrey and Michael Scott Condrey; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Huslage officiating.
