Robert James Aragon Sr. of Fresno, California age 72 passed away on Thursday January 4, 2018.
Robert was born January 11, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to the late William (Bill) and Stella Aragon. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Fresno, California.

As a young child Robert gave his life to Christ. Robert along with his wife Sherri, were part of the birth of Paraclete Missionary Baptist Church. The Church's mission is to spread the Word and work for the Kingdom of God.
As an adult, he rededicated himself at Paraclete, where he became a Deacon.

As a young man Robert met and married Brenda and from that union they were blessed with 2 sons Robert (Junior) and Roger (Sonny) who preceded him in death, and 1 daughter Jacqueline. From his marriage to Julie, they were blessed with the youngest of his children, a son , Antonio.

Robert did all his schooling in Fresno and graduated from Edison High School, where he met and kept some lifelong friendships. It is often said Robert knew "everyone" in Fresno. Robert's love for electrical work provided him many entrepreneurial opportunities along with his work as a furniture reupholsterer.

He eventually went to work for FAX where he ultimately retired after 18 years.
After meeting at FAX and sharing life , in 1997 he married his best friend Sherri, who shared his love for life, animals and country living. Together they took care of a host of cats, dogs and birds with an open door to fellowship with family and friends.

As God decided to bring Robert home he leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 20 years Sherri Aragon, children Robert Jr. (Marie) Aragon, Jacqueline (Jaime) Banks and Antonio Aragon. Grandchildren, Carlos (Angie) Grant, Lia Grant , Ayanna Aragon, Pedro Gomez, Marisa Aragon, Brea Aragon, Roger Aragon, Janiece Jimenez, Janea Aragon and Antonio Aragon Jr. Great grandchildren, Serenity Grant, Helena Mc Clain,. He also leaves his father and mother in law William ( Bill) and Marlene Silence. His siblings, Jack, Bill (Margert), Tommy ( Nancy),Patricia (Barry),Ricky (Christina), Peggy (Raphael) and Joey ( Cindy). His sister in law Linda (Ron), Star and brother in law Billy. He also leaves countless nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Being that Robert never met a stranger, he leaves hundreds of folks to remember his laughter, his stories, his zest for life, his love of others and love for The Lord.
