Bobbie was ushered quietly into the presence of her Heavenly Father, Thursday, October 12 in her home with her family by her side. She was 80 years old and lived a rich and rewarding life. Bobbie was born on July 30, 1937 in Aurora, Nebraska to her parents, Cris and Louise Klinger. She attended high school at Aurora High School and went on to Central Bible College. It was there she met her husband, James George. They were married in 1957 and were together for 61 years. Their two sons, Scott and Kris, were born in Albion, Michigan where they were pastors at Albion First Assembly. The family moved to Central Florida in 1968. Bobbie went on to get a Masters of Education Degree at University of Central Florida and was a teacher for both Seminole and Orange County for over 40 years. Jim and Bobbie were pastors at Calvary Assembly where Bobbie sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. They went on to pastor Living Word Assembly, Pine Castle Methodist, and finally Geneva United Methodist. She was a true musician and used it whenever she could. She wrote beautiful songs for each of the grandkids baptisms, taught piano lessons after school to the kids in her neighborhood, and every Holiday, she sang Christmas Carols with the Caroling Company. She was definitely blessed with the gift of music. She was compassionate, kind, gracious, fun-loving, and dedicated to her family. Bobbie is survived by her husband, Jim, her two sons, Scott and Kris and their wives, Tammi and Kristin. And most important to her, her grandchildren, Austen, Aaren, Amanda, Nicholas, Allison and Olivia. A memorial service will be held at Pine Castle United Methodist on Saturday, November 11th at 10:00 am. The address is 731 Fairlane Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809. There will be an additional service Sunday, November 12th at 10:30 A.M. at Geneva United Methodist, 270 1st street, Geneva FL 32732. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be sent to Orlando Hope, 1199 Clay Street, Winter Park, FL 32789.
