Mrs. Roberta Drew Williams

UNION-Services for Roberta Drew Williams, will be held at 11:00 a. m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Little Rock Baptist Church, Little Rock, MS, with Revs. Gene Higginbotham and David Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Williams, age 82, of Little Rock, went to her eternal home on Sunday, May 1, at her residence.
Mrs. Williams retired from Rush Hospital after 17 years of dedicated service. She also was a lifelong and faithful member of Little Rock Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie Carl Williams of Little Rock; 1 Son, Jerry Wayne Drew and his wife, Cindy of Baton Rouge, LA; 3 grandchildren: Chris D. Drew, Michael W. Drew, and Brian Lee Drew; sister, Evelyn Jenkins and her husband, Junior of Little Rock; 3 step grandchildren: Janis Galatas, Bruce Williams, and Amy Williams; and numerous great grandchildren.
The family would like to say thanks to a special niece, Gina Daivs, for being a loving care giver to her aunt.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Jodie W. and Ava Wansley Smith, a daughter, Debra Drew, a son, Edward Earl Drew, 2 sisters, Maureen Chaney and Joree Reynolds, and one brother, Rev. Raymond Smith.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to service time at the Church on Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Craig Jenkins, Steve Bond, Mike Chaney, Joseph Malone, Norman Gillis, and Drew Gillis.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Nicholson.
