Ronald E. Williams, 67, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Select Specialty, Jackson.

Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm, Monday, December 4, 2017, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Memorial services will follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel.

Ronnie retired in 2007 from Trustmark Bank after more than 30 years of dedicated service. A true outdoorsman, his hobbies included hunting, fishing, and golf. Ronnie enjoyed following several different sports, and played baseball during his high school years. He also had a passion for music and was part of the first rock band formed in the Pearl area. A gifted storyteller, his wit and sense of humor captured the listener, as they hung on every word. Ronnie's favorite times were spent with his friend, Mike, fishing the marshes of south Louisiana, and with his wife and friends at the lake house in Carroll County. He was an excellent cook, and often made biscuits for the staff at his mother's nursing facility, lunch for his wife, and was the captain of Mike's annual crawfish boil.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Linda H. Williams; daughter, Shannon Stanley (Hal); brother, Richard Williams (Diann); sister, Lynette Hancock (Richard); grandchildren, Mary Katherine Stanley, Lee Ellen Stanley, Virginia Louise Stanley, and Harold Stanley, Jr.; nephews, Michael Pope and Chad Pope; nieces, McKayla Ashley, and Anna Leigh Ashley; and his canine and feline companions, J.R. and Cat.
