Beloved Father & Grandfather Ionia: Ronald W. Stonewell, Sr., age 78, of Elton Rd., passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. He is survived by four children, Ronald W. Stonewell, Jr. (Jean Dana), Jeffrey (Deborah) Stonewell, Susan Christie, and Sandra Hritz (Peter Landon); eleven grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Adelia M. Stonewell in 2012. Mr. Stonewell was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked at Rochester Products for many years. Mr. Stonewell was an active member of the Ionia United Methodist Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, sports and NASCAR. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 2 South Ave., Bloomfield. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Millers Corners Cemetery, Ionia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia United Methodist Church, PO Box 8, Ionia, NY 14475.
