Rose Marviline Camp, 83, of Crandall, TX, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2017. She was born on April 6, 1934 to Benjamin Berkley and Jessie Ethel (Bryant) Simons in Dallas, TX.

Rose retired from Proctor and Gamble after 35 years of faithful service. She actually began work there when she was 15 years old and her job was her life. She won many awards and certificates over the years. Rose also loved to go dancing, listen to country music and even sing along with the band at times, especially if they played "Rambling Rose". She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and helped to take care of her brothers and sisters until their passing. Rose's greatest pleasure in life was her family and she loved them dearly. They will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Benjamin and Jessie Simons; husband of 16 years and father of her children, Lenard P. "Buddy" Adams; husband of 20 years, Chester Bennett; grandson Jacob Spencer Searcy; grandson Scotty Chatham; son-in-law Danny Chatham; siblings: William Simons, Thomas Simons, Minnie Callaway, Cora Herold, Dorothy Baker, Walter McCollough, Robert Simons, Benny Simons and Elizabeth Lamb.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Deborah Chatham; Lydia Searcy and husband, Kenneth, Mark Adams and wife, Beverly, and Julia Handlin and husband, Gary; grandchildren: Tara, Angela, Matthew, Jessica, Jamie, Jennie, Jennifer, Travis, Wendy and Jonathan; great-grandchildren: Scott, Hannah, Gabrielle, Casey, Amber, Corey, Andrew, Jacob, Noah, Travis, Alicia, Jonathan, Caleb, Jesse, Alivia and Ethan; great-great-grandchildren: Zachariah and Bella; sister-in-law Wanda Simons; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her dearly.
