Rose T. Adams, 78, of the 800 block of Norman Ave., Norfolk, VA, passed away February 27, 2012, in her home. A native of North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Heckstall and Selma Twiford, and the widow of William D. Adams. She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and volunteered at DePaul Hospital for over 20 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Connell and Kimberly Burton and husband Ralph; her sister, Patricia Golden and husband Tom; five grandchildren, William Burton, Jon Burton, Julie Connell, Jenny Connell and Katie Connell; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jordan and J.J. Burton and Carver and Caroline Jamison; and her beloved Chihuahua, Allie. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at McKendree United Methodist Church with Rev. Michelle Louk officiating. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
