Rosemary Lorimor, age 88, a resident of Wascott, Wisconsin died on Friday June 24, 2011, at the Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.
Rosemary Wall Keaough was born on July 14, 1922, in Superior, Wisconsin to parents William J. and Frances (Wall) Keaough. After graduating from Central Sr. High School in Superior, she moved to Washington D.C. where she worked for the telephone company. On December 27, 1950, she was united in marriage to Keith Lorimor in Washington D.C. The couple had been residents of Superior before moving to Wascott in 1978. She was a member of the Gordon- Wascott Historical Society, the Gordon Senior Citizens and Catholic Daughters. She spent the last three decades at her home on Bass Lake a few miles southwest of Gordon, Wisconsin. She loved the outdoors and life in the woods.
She is survived by her 2 sons: William (Terry) Lorimor of Loveland, CO, Francis "Ted" Lorimor of Maple, WI, 2 daughters: Marjorie (Bruce) Smith of Superior, WI, Carrie Jo (Glen) Waisanen of Gordon, WI, 6 grandchildren: Destin Lorimor, Carrie (Erik) Olson, Kendall Smith, Mitchell, Haley, and Hannah Quigley, and one great grandchild Madelyn Wirkus.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her husband Keith L. Lorimor on March 4, 2000, one son Keith L. Lorimor Jr. on January 28, 1974, her parents, 3 sisters: Jean Hartnett, Louise Marrs, Frances Yanda, and brother William Keaough.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at 11 am at the St. Pius Catholic Church in Solon Springs with Fr. James Kinney as Celebrant. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10- 11 am at the Church. Inurnment will follow at the St. Francis Cemetery in Superior. Online condolences may be left at
