Rosie E. Quintana was called to heaven November 19, 2017, with family at her side; born on September 24, 1956, El Paso, TX. Survived by mother, Carmen Quintana, sisters, Dolores "Supporting Rock" Duran, Patsy Aguilar (Mando), brother, Tony Quintana (Sylvia), 5 nephews, 4 nieces, 3 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces, Uncle Manny, Aunt Chelo, and many loving cousins. She served as a volunteer at Sierra Medical Center and Rio Vista Rehab. Rosie was always smiling and made sure her family knew how much she loved them. She enjoyed spending time with her mom and Dolores at the casino and the senior citizen center. Rosie was and always will be a true EPHS Tiger. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, Dolly Parton, and The Carpenters. Rosie faced many challenges in life, but remained strong and positive through her undeniable faith and support of family and friends. Pallbearers: Joe Quintana, Tony Quintana, Robert Zaragoza, Tommy Duran, Alex Corral, Anthony Zaragoza. Honorary Pallbearers: Josh Quintana and Zion Salinas. Special thanks to Dr. M. Lam, Dr. S. Saldivar, Dr. J. Spier, nurses Angelica Pedregon and Adriana Guerrero-Coello, and all the hospital staff who partook in her care. Visitation will be held Friday November 24, 2017 from 5-9pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a vigil at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday November 25, 2017 at 9am at San Antonio Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
