HOPEDALE ~ Russell E. Davidson, 75, of Hopedale, passed away at 12:36 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at UnityPoint Health – Methodist in Peoria.

He was born January 21, 1944 in Bernie, Missouri to Clarence Eugene and Jesalin (Riddle) Davidson.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Davidson of Highland and Norman Droll of Mascoutah and two brothers, Clarence D. (Glenda) Davidson of Dexter, Missouri and Kenneth Dale Davidson of Farmington, Missouri.

Russell retired after 26 years of serving our country with the United States Air Force.  He also worked for Subway in St. Louis, Missouri as a District Manager.

His memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 21, 2019 at God and Country Independent Baptist Church in Pekin.  Pastor Jim Dawson will officiate.  Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
