Russell Hosselton, 95, of Olney, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Burgin Manor in Olney.
He was born on December 20, 1920 in Clay City to William Seth and Dorothy (Moseley) Hosselton.
He married Vivien B. Land on April 6, 1947 in Olney. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2006. Also preceding him in death was four brothers Harold, Gill, Joe and L.B. "Jr." and one sister Claribelle Davis.
Surviving is one daughter Elaine (Eldon) Koch of Aiken, SC, one grandson Bryce (Tiffany) Koch of N. Charleston, SC, two great-grandchildren Abby and Austin, one brother Lindy (Roberta) Hosselton of Flora, and several nieces and nephews.
Russell was a field operator, working for Phillips Petroleum Company, retiring after 36 years. He was a World War II Army veteran serving in the European Theater, and attended the Free Methodist Church of Olney.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 21 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, where visitation will be held one hour prior.
Entombment will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Claremont.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the Donor's Choice.
