Sally Annette Love [nee Jenkins], 68, died in her sleep June 26, 2017 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. Sally was living and being cared for in Brookdale Willowbrook, Claire Bridge Home in Houston, Texas. She is predeceased by her parents Sam and Thelma Robertson Jenkins.

Sally was born, raised and educated in Austin, Texas. She earned a membership in Mensa of which
she was very proud. She earned a Journalism Degree at UT Austin, was editor of the campus newspaper and wrote and edited stories for Texas Highways. After moving to Houston she worked at such diverse companies as Texas Commerce Bank, BMC Software and Brown Nelson Advertising where she represented artists and musicians using her marketing and management skills. She earned an MBA at the University of Houston.

Sally had many skills and hobbies. She was a skilled needlepoint artist and was constantly busy with
a project. She loved to sing and was active with the Houston Horizon Chapter of Sweet Adelines Barbershop Harmony Society. She was active in her church choirs and enjoyed harmonizing with her
favorite singers on radio or CD as we travelled. Additionally she collected patterned Depression Glass and looked forward to getting out into her garden. For the past 10 years her passion was writing mystery short stories. Active with The Final Twist writers group, Sally had many of her stories published in their annual anthology.

Much appreciation and thanks go out to all the Nurses and Aides at Claire Bridge House at Brookdale
Willowbrook, and Brookdale Hospice for the Love, Devotion and care given to Sally and her family during this most difficult year. You were wonderful.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Sally in the future at Lakewood UMC on Louetta Rd.
Notice of that service will be made at a later date.
