On Sept 9, 2016 Samuel Hershel White moved to his eternal home to be with his beloved wife of 68 years Helen Jones White. He followed his calling from the Lord for over 50 years as an ordained minister in various churches and ministries. He will be remembered for his dry wit, love of old gospel hymns, great storytelling, and his deep love for his Lord and his beloved wife. He is survived by his children: Virginia Ann Moore, Tommie Lou Potts, Phillip Wayne White, Sammie Joe White, and Sandra Fay Boyd. He has been blessed with 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, Sept 12 at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo, AL with visitation at 2:00pm and funeral service at 3:00pm.
