Scott was born on October 26, 1945 and passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

Scott was a resident of Davis, Illinois at the time of passing.

When Scott was 12, his family moved to the Freeport area where he attended Immanuel Lutheran School.

In September of that same year, he was drafted into the US Army and served in Vietnam from 1967-68 where he was the Captain's radio operator.
