Shirley Fay Fisher Campbell departed this life on Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson, Indiana, being 78 years, 5 months and 4 days of age. She was born on October 28, 1937 in Knox County, Kentucky to the late Earl Fisher and the late Bell Mills Fisher. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters: Randall Fisher, Morris Fisher, Geneva Hinkle and Joyce Overbay. She was a member of the Methodist Faith. Shirley loved being outdoors in her garden or tending to her flowers. One of her greatest joys was cooking for all who entered her home. She was caring and compassionate, always putting the needs of others before her own.

Shirley leaves behind to mourn her passing her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Campbell; her son Lonnie Campbell and wife Janet of Fortville, Indiana; her daughter Lisa Campbell of San Diego, California; three brothers: Russell David Fisher, Marvin Fisher, and Joe Fisher; four grandchildren: Daine Wallace, Kyle Campbell, DJ Daniels and Katy Daniels; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Shirley's life will be conducted on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 2:00PM in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Fisher, Rev. Vernon Morris, and Rev. Terry Broughton officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Fisher Cemetery in the Trace Branch community with friends and family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Hampton Funeral Home.
