Shirley J. Piske, Lifelong resident of Albion, went to be with the Lord Saturday July 16, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital of Kalamazoo after a brief illness. Shirley entered this world in 1933 to John and Francis Passmore. She attended Albion Public Schools and graduated in 1951. On July 27, 1952, she married Richard Piske and he survives. Shirley had many jobs over the years but finished her working days as a teller at Homestead Bank located in Albion.

The most cherished memories the family have is the love Shirley had for family. She took great joy in playing games and cards with her family over the years, along with just spending any amount of time she could with her Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Some other things that brought some light in to Shirley's life were her love of gardening, especially her flowers. In years past, she enjoyed bowling, shopping for a good bargain and going camping. She enjoyed many outdoor activities with Richard including owning Horses, snowmobiles and a Dune Buggy. In recent years, both her and Richard had grown fond of escaping the Michigan Winters together in Florida. She will be sadly missed by those she loved and who loved her, Her Survivors include: husband, Richard Piske of Albion, daughter Sharon (Tom) Rumsey and son Kenneth (Carmel) Piske, all of Albion, grandchildren: Chad (Lori) Rumsey of Grass Lake and Sara (Greg) Schumamek, of Cadillac, great grandchildren Lydia & Madelyn, sister Donna Pickett, also of Albion, brothers David (Cathy) Passmore of Concord and George (Betty) Passmore, of Marengo. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Russell.
