Mrs. Shirley Sellers Watson, 70, of Sylvester died Wednesday May 2, 2012, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday May 4, 2012 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Gene Huggins officiating.
Mrs. Watson was born on April 14, 1942 in Mobile AL, to the late James Allen and Clara Madden Sellers. She had lived in Worth County since 1973 moving here from Pensacola, FL,. Mrs. Watson was a self-employed truck driver; she loved the Atlanta Braves and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Watson of Sylvester, daughters, Vicki Parker of Sylvester and. Terri Bridges (Derel) of Tifton, sisters, Jewel Phillips of Brewton, AL, Barbara Phillips of Brewton, AL, Bonnie Phillips of Hickory, NC, Marilyn Howard of Brewton, AL. and Mary Carroll of East Brewton, AL, grandchildren, Derek Bridges, Seth Bridges and Patrick Salter.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
