A Mass of Christian Burial for Sheridan Lake, Colorado resident, Steve J. Mozisek will be held at 10:00 AM Friday March 5, 2010 at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar. Father Charles Sena will be the Celebrant and the rite of committal will be held at a later date in the Victoria Cemetery in Victoria, Texas.
A Rosary/Scripture service will be held at 9:30 AM Friday March 5, 2010 also at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar.
Visitation for Steve will be held from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Thursday March 4, 2010 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar and prior to the rosary/scripture service at the church.
Mr. Mozisek was born on April 12, 1943 in Victoria, Texas to Steve and Agnes Mozisek and departed this life on Sunday February 28, 2010 at his home in Sheridan Lake with his family by his side at the age of 66.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother – Agnes Konvicka-Mozisek in 1985 in Victoria, Texas; by his father – Steve Sylvester Mozisek in 1991 also of Victoria, Texas; and by one son – Keith Welden of Denver in 1995.
Steve is survived by his wife Dran Mozisek of Sheridan Lake, CO; by five children – Stacy Rieff-Mozisek of Hemet, CA; Rebecca Mozisek of Eads; Tamara Krava of Hemet, CA; Wright and his wife Chris Welden of Castle Rock, CO; and Melissa Lipscomb of Littleton, CO; by thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; by four brothers – John (Betty) Mozisek; George Mozisek; Allen (Ann) Mozisek; and Kenny (Tracy) Mozisek; and by two sisters – Bernice (Gary) Honc and Betty (Mike) Jordan; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
