Sue Gregory McMullin, 94, passed away January 17, 2018 at St. Dominic Hospital Jackson, MS, with her son and daughter by her side. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. Sue was the youngest daughter of Tom and Sue Lee Gregory born August 21,1923 in Okolona, MS. She attended Mississippi State College for Women (MSCW) for one year.

While in her twenties, she worked for the C & G Railway where she met and married her husband of over seventy years, the late William David "Mack" McMullin who died January 2017. They eventually made their home in Columbus, MS, where they raised their two children.

During their years in Columbus, Sue worked for the Mississippi State Employment Service. She was a member of First Methodist Church and enjoyed supper club, dancing and participating in her children's activities.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mack, and two sisters, Clem Beemon (Ed) and Manette Turner (Ennis).

She is survived by her son, William David "Bill" McMullin, Jr. (Vanita) of Madison, MS, and daughter, Lynda McMullin Steadman (Mike) of Jackson, MS, grandson, David Christopher McMullin of Maple Grove, Minnesota, granddaughter, Lindsey Steadman Townsend (Tim), of Madison, MS, and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the chapel of Hospice Ministries located at 450 Towne Center Blvd., Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. with service immediately following at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. Barry Male of Madison United Methodist Church, Madison, MS, will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Scott Layne and Chris Funkhouser, NP, St. Dominic Medical Association, Jackson, MS, Dr. Karen Carney, Jackson, MS, Dr. Michael Borne of Mississippi Retina Associates, Jackson, MS, Dr. Byron Herpich and the staff of Lakeland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Jackson, MS.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Hospice Ministries Inc., 450 Towne Center Blvd., Ridgeland, MS 39157.
