Susan Peggy Fodge March 24, 1946 – March 12, 2012 Susan Fodge, 65 of Albany, passed away Monday morning at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Susan was born in Corvallis to Melvin and Margaret(Schmid) Grant. She grew up in Harlan, Oregon on the family farm and attended Eddyville School. She married Robert Paul Fodge in 1966 in Corvallis and the two of them moved to Albany. There, they raised their family and owned BSF Trucking. She was very involved in 4H and spent her time tending to horses and livestock and at rodeos. Susan was also a devoted mother and grandmother. Susan is survived by her husband, Robert; father, Melvin; children, Tonya Sue Fodge of Philomath, Brent Paul Fodge and wife Keeli of McMinnville, and Jami Lyn Vroman and husband Donnie of Monroe; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother. A celebration of life will be held Saturday April 7th at 2:00 pm at the Linn County Fairgrounds Conference Rooms. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research may be sent in care of Fisher Funeral Home, 306 Washington St. SW, Albany, OR 97321.
