PEORIA – Susan K. Schwark, 69, of Dahinda, formerly of Peoria, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 4:08 a.m. at her residence. She was born June 21, 1944 in Peoria to David C. and Margaret K. Addler Brown. She married William Schwark on September 23, 1965 in Peoria. He died in 2008 in Peoria. She is also preceded in death by her son, William. Susan is survived by her son, Richard Schwark of Pittsburgh, PA; grandson, Timmy Schwark of Pittsburgh; sister, Sally (Chuck) Chamberlain of Dahinda; brother, David (Shirley) Brown of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Tom (Nancy) Brown of Canton; sister, Sharon (Terry) Schmidgall of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews. She worked for the Peoria County Auditor as a bookkeeper for many years. She last worked for Dri-Roads Program in Peoria County for many years. Susan was a member of Memorial Christian Church in Peoria. She was recently attending Oaks Community Church in Dahinda. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 at The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria, where visitation will be one hour prior. Rev. Arvil Bass will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to US Department of Veterans Affairs.
