Taleba Breslow Wolf, age 73 of Lebanon, Ct., died Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Greentree Manor, Waterford, Ct. after a long battle with kidney disease. Taleba was born on September 8, 1939 in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Max and Rosalind (Penziner) Polinsky. Following graduation from Jersey Prep, she married Jay Breslow and moved to East Haddam, Ct. and then in 1968 to Norwich, Ct. They were married 25 years before Jay passed. In 1987, she married Richard Wolf and moved to Lebanon, Ct. Richard predeceased her in 1999. Taleba was a member of Beth Jacob Synagogue, Norwich, Ct. She was an avid Mah Jongg and Canasta player, and life member of Hadassah. Surviving are her daughters Robbin Alpert and husband Brian of East Lyme, and Carol Bridges of Portland Maine. She was predeceased by her step daughter Gail (Sammy) Piotrkowski in 2012. She is also survived by her step son Marc Wolf (Robin), and seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother Charles (Louise) Polinsky of New Jersey and her sister Shayna (Michael) Green of Pennsylvania. The funeral service will be graveside at Rodfe Zedek Cemetery on Leesville Road, Moodus, Ct. at 11:00am Friday, May 31, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Temple Emanu-El Synagogue in Waterford, CT. On behalf of Taleba, her family would like to thank the attentive staff at Greentree Manor. Shiva will be observed at the home of Robbin and Brian Alpert of East Lyme, Ct. on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday afternoon and evening. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L.
