High Point- Theresa Darline Heath, 63, peacefully found her path to God's right hand on Friday April 14, 2017 at Baptist Hospital. She carried with her the respect, love and admiration of countless friends.

Theresa was born on May 2, 1953 in San Diego, California. Though she never ventured abroad, Theresa loved to travel and spent time in Texas, Indiana and Florida before finally settling in High Point, North Carolina. She particularly loved the sea and worked aboard a shrimp boat in her younger years while living in Galvaston.

Her strength and confidence guided her through God's toughest tests including Hurricane Gilbert and two house fires. Even the tragic deaths of both of her sons, and of her boyfriend Kevin, couldn't shatter her faith in God. She used this positive outlook along with her laughter and terrific smile to do God's work, helping to open Leslie's House, a shelter for battered and homeless women.

Throughout her days, Theresa's inspired generosity was unwavering. She touched all whom she encountered with her positivity, her sharp wit, unmistakable goodness and southern hospitality. She will be loved and missed by us all.

She was proceeded in death by her life-long partner Kevin Dillinger; sons Mark Reynolds and Shawn Heath.

Theresa is survived by her daughter Heather Frazier; sons Bryan Sweet and Billy Christian; grandchildren, Brandon Attwell, Lindse Frazier, Haley Frazier, Shane Heath, and Jacob Heath.

A Celebration of life will be held at Sechrest Funeral Service of High Point from 6 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West End Ministries, Inc. for Leslie's House 903 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262
