Mr. Hammack, 46, of DeKalb, passed away Sunday at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was employed in the medical field as a sleep apnea technician. Mr. Hammack is survived by his daughter, Faith Nicole Hammack; parents Walter Thomas and Cynthia Hammack; sisters Jerrie Yolanda Klabunde (Gary) and Cynthia Nicole Conguista (Michael) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Nannie Maude Hammack and Mack and Thelma Dickerson.
Pallbearers will be Mack Walters, Mike Seymore, Kevin Bounds, Bobby McDade, Lawson Smith, David Smith, and Bob Nelson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12pm to 1pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mr. Hammack's favorite charities, those being The Shriner's Hospitals and the Wounded Warrior Project.
