Thomas Jefferson Williams III

On Monday December 4th, 2017, Thomas passed away at Herman Memorial Hospital in
Shenandoah, Texas, as a result of a severe asthma attack from the previous day. Thomas had
recently turned 37 years old.

Thomas Williams was born in Houston, Texas on November 27, 1980. He was the only son of
Thomas Jefferson Williams II, and Marlene Havel Sprawls.
Thomas spent his growing up years between Houston, Texas and Farmington, Missouri. He
graduated from Park Hills High School in 1999. Thomas moved to Houston, Texas thereafter in
which he joined the United States Navy. Thomas did his basic training in Chicago, Illinois.
He was then stationed in San Diego, California, and trained as a Culinary Specialist. His
honorable discharge came 12 months later.
Thomas married Melanie French in 2003, and later had a son named Dylan Ray Williams on
June 9th, 2004.

Thomas began working at Pappasitos Cantina in 2003, where he met his wife Lauren in 2005.
Thomas and Lauren welcomed Chloe Rae Williams into the world on June 2, 2009. Thomas and
Lauren were joined in marriage on July 25, 2015.
Thomas loved his wife and children very much. He was always determined that his children
take an active part in their academics, and always show kindness to others. His family was the
center of his world. He was working on completing his bachelors in Supply Chain Management
at the University of Houston Downtown. His plan was to have a career with the Restaurant
Industry.

Thomas enjoyed being with people he loved, playing pool in his garage, watching football,
playing Xbox, and going to the beach.
Thomas is survived by: Lauren Aubrei Williams,wife, Dylan Ray Williams, son, Chloe Rae
Williams, daughter, Thomas Jefferson Williams II, father, Marlene Havel Sprawls, mother, and
all six sisters include, Tammy Easterwood, Elesha Adamek, Cassie Williams, Chelsea Marler,
Amanda Williams, and Stacey Gillette. Maternal grandparents include Leon and Olga Havel.
Step Grandparents include Carol and Terry Douglass. Paternal grandparents include the late
Thomas Jefferson Williams Sr, and the late Nellie Williams.

The Forest Park-The Woodlands Funeral home including Gaile Powell, Family Service
counselor, and Brandy Garcia, funeral director. Their utmost devotion to see that Thomas is
beautifully laid to rest, is unmeasured. The caring staff at Herman Memorial Hospital, that
provided anything the family needed during such a tragic time. All the family that have traveled
near and far, and the friends that have offered nothing but love and support for the survivors.
Lauren's Aunt Bobbi Jo Bowen, who has been by Lauren's side since this unfortunate situation.
