Thomas Monroe Jackson, 85 of Yorkville, Tennessee died on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at his residence in Yorkville,Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, September 29, 1931 in Gibson County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charles Albert Jackson and the late Lettie Minton Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a farmer, member of Cool Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Jamie Adams. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by three sons, Albert E. Jackson of Kenton, Tennessee, Harold T. Jackson of Yorkville, Tennessee and Nelson L. Jackson (Yvette) of Victoria, Texas; one sister, Laura Lou Osborne of Nashville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Alice Jackson; two brothers, Logan Jackson and Talmadge Jackson and three sisters, Mary Ruth Rainey, Irma Zaricor and Annett Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Seigal Jackson, Andy Alford, Mickey Robertson, Mike Minton, Mike Pruitt and Harold Dunivant.
