Tony Tramontelli ,age 62, a resident of Troy, Michigan passed away on May 2, 2012. Mr. Tramontelli was born August 29, 1949 to the late Antonio and Natalina (nee Spagnoli) Tramontelli in Tarrytown, New York. Tony graduated from Ossining High School in 1967, earned a Bachelor of Science from the Kansas State Teacher's College in 1971, and completed his Master's in Business Administration at Baldwin Wallace College in 1988. He used his knowledge to work for American Greetings Corporation for 28 years. He retired from the same in 2009. Tony was moved by the Lord to serve his community in many ways. At Kensington Community Church he was a volunteer in the children's program, served as a mission team member and later a leader on trips to the church plant in Utah. He was trained and served as a Stephen Minister, started the hospital visitation ministry and served as a peer supervision leader of other Stephen Ministers. He was certified as a Lieutenant in the First Responders Chaplain Association of Roseville. Through Eastside Vineyard Church he was a communion server and supported community outreach projects including the barbecue for the homeless, caroling at a nursing home, Central Detroit Christian Christmas store, and hosted Bible study small groups in his home. He has also been involved in Habitat for Humanity projects. Beyond this, his friends recall countless ways he was a blessing with acts of service to individuals offering his time and talent on construction, design and décor projects.

Tony is survived by his two children, Angela Sue and Cory Robert; and his sister, Leonilda Volpacchio as well as many extended relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Gino Tramontelli.

A memorial service for Tony will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 10:30 am. Guests may arrive beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Eastside Vineyard Church, Tony Tramontelli Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 182495, Shelby Township, MI 48318.
