Treva J. Friesner, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, May 5th, 2017 at the Homestead Center. Treva was born on June 10th, 1933 to the late Wesley and Nellie Mae Schryver in Baltimore, Ohio. Treva did officework for many different churches throughout her life. She was a longtime member of the Fairfield Christian Church in Lancaster. Treva loved her church and was known by many as a people person. She also loved her kitchen. The biggest love of her life was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She was especially proud to have her 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, plus two more on the way.
Treva is survived by her loving husband, Paul; daughter, Jill; sons, Steven (Patricia), Chip (Marcia), and Vince (Paula) Friesner; her 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elsie Friesner; special friends, Bob and Sally Roberts and family, the Penix family, the Huddler family, Jan Ellinger, and Bonnie Whittington; as well as many nieces, nephew, cousins and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stewart Friesner; and brothers-in-law, Leo Friesner, and Robert Fletcher; sister-in-law, Genny Fletcher, as well as numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the FAIRFIELD CHRISTIAN CHURCH at 2:30PM with Pastors Mark Barbee & Ken Mulpas officiating. Burial is to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in Baltimore, OH. Friends may visit on Tuesday, from 2-4PM & 6-8PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
