Treva "Regata" Comer Louderback, 93, a resident of Shenandoah passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 29, 2014 at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was born on June 6, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Myrtle Turner Comer.

Regata lived all her life in Page County and graduated from Shenandoah High School. She retired in 1999 from Luray Caverns; was a member of the Eastern Star and attended Church of the Valley in Shenandoah.

On May 16, 1938 she married, Guy L. Louderback, Sr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard A. Louderback I; two brothers and three sisters.

Regata is survived by two daughters, Martha S. Vaughan of Luray, Mary Ellen Atwood of Bentonville; one son, Guy L. Louderback, Jr. of Luray; a grandson who was raised in the home, Richard Louderback, of Shenandoah; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister and three brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Church of the Valley with Pastors Alfred Comer and Charles Turner officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
