Val Jean Barnes born July 26, 1942 in Conneaut, Ohio, she was called home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 27, 2015, in Prescott Valley, AZ. She is survived by her husband Rev. Arthur Barnes of Paulden, AZ; Children: Valerie Phillips of Cartersville, GA; James Eliasen of Clarksville, AR; and Stephenie Taylor of Prescott, AZ; Stepchildren: Robyn Barnes of Colorado Springs, CO; Melody James of Phoenix, AZ; Jeff Barnes of Chandler, AZ; and Renee Walker of Laveen, AZ; and 16 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Val was very active in church, and loved meeting people as a door greeter at Walmart in Prescott, AZ. She helped her husband write three books on the Bible. Val loved to travel and had visited 49 states spreading the Gospel, leaving only Hawaii which she wished to visit later. Val was a wonderful person and loving wife and mother, with a great sense of humor - she will be missed.
