Valerie Berens Dooley, 93, died peacefully on February 10, 2015, at The Maples of Towson, her assisted living residence since 2010.

In addition to Wally and Ray, she was preceded in death by her parents Alva and Lou Berens in 1978 and 1979, and by her brother Ray Berens, and sister Jean Skinkis. She is survived by five brothers and sisters -- Bruce, Phil and Bob Berens, Carol Dalton and Jerrie McGreal. Also by her sons Bill and Kevin, daughters-in-law Kathy, Debbie, and Anne Rowland, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
