Vanessa Maureen Price-Landry, (Ness, Monessa, Bonessa, Vanna-Banana-Rama) passed away peacefully amongst friends and family during the late evening of 31 July 2017, after a sudden illness and various medical complications

Funeral service will commence at two o’clock pm Saturday, August 5, 2017 at J.E Foust & Son Funeral Home at 523 S Main St, Grapevine, TX, with a reception immediately following. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30-1:30 Saturday at the funeral home.

Vanessa was born 21 February 1983, the sweet and loving daughter, to Vincent Edmund Price and Maureen Frances (nee O’Keefe) Price, in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. She was the protective and admired sister of Spencer Andrew and Trevor Vincent; a cherished wife to Lance Landry; respected daughter-in-law to Lonny and Sandy Landry; loved sister-in-law to Shawn and Crystal Landry; and doting and fun-fun-fun Aunt to Kaelyn and Korbyn Landry; and Zoo Keeper to Coalie, Whitten, Nika, Cricket, Dexter, and Monk. Vanessa lived her formative years in Beamsville, Ontario. She attended St. John’s Catholic Elementary School, Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School, and later graduated from Sheridan College with a Certificate as Veterinary Technician.

Although reluctant to do so, at age 21 Vanessa joined her already immigrated family in Flower Mound, Texas. Vanessa made many many fast friends where she worked at Cozymel’s Restaurant and met her to-be husband Lance Landry. Having worked in the service industry and same neighbourhood for a number years Vanessa soon became a bright-smiled pillar at Love &War in Texas. Vanessa was loved by many and will be missed by all. She lived her life as selfless and empathetic as any person is capable. With an over-sized heart on her sleeve we always knew the exact mood Vanessa was in on any given day, and that mood would include a protective nature, a loving spirit, a kind-hearted soul, non-judgemental eyes, an incredible nature to ‘read’ others, and an unconditional love for all she met.

Vanessa will be forever remembered by an amazing extended family near and far, and great number of friends near and far. She will be welcomed home by those departed before her.
