On December 16, 2017, Colonel Victor L. Sandacz (U.S.A.F. -Ret) filed his final flight plan to return once again to the wild blue yonder . He is reunited with his beloved wife, Betty Sandacz (just in time for their 75th wedding anniversary). Also joining him for this heavenly reunion, are his sons Vic Jr and David, daughter-in-law Sally and granddaughter Christine.

Victor L. Sandacz was a shining example of The Greatest Generation and proudly served his country for 30 years during WW2, Korea and Vietnam. He was a vital leader during the Cold War. Serving in the Strategic Air Command, whose motto is "Peace is our Profession". More importantly, he built a strong family that traveled and lived all over the world from Germany to Panama. Upon his retirement after 30 years of faithful service as an Air Force pilot, he and Betty settled in Arlington ,Texas. The Sandacz family home was the hub of activity for birthdays, holidays and family celebrations for more than 45 years.

Surviving Col. Sandacz are his sons Gary Sandacz and his wife Nancy, and Kevin Sandacz and his wife Patsy, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside Service will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery Friday at 11:00 am. Those attending, please be present at the cemetery no later than 10:45 am.
