Viola Langley Viola Langley 87, passed away peacefully Feb. 10, 2017 at her home surrounded by her children in Waterford after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Providences R.I. November 9, 1929 daughter of the late Frank and Rose Capraro. Viola "Meme" to her many friends and family, was predeceased by her husband Earl Langley. Also predeceased by two sisters, Mary Capraro and Gladys Malen, brother Frank Capraro and brothers-in-law Kenneth Langley, Raymond Langley and Amedio Dimaio. She Worked at Waterford Pharmacy and CVS for over 25 years retiring at age 82. Her passion was being surrounded by her family. She is Survived by her daughter Beverly Slattery, sons Robert Langley and wife Debbie, Earl Langley, Brian Langley and wife Jessica, six grandchildren, Christine Slattery, Stephanie Langley, Greg Slattery and wife Melissa, Michael Langley, Asia Langley, Jayden Langley, sisters Lillian Dimaio, Anna Gallucci and husband Vinny, brother Thomas and wife Betty, sister-in-law Catherine and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at 11 O'clock at St. Joseph Church Squire Street New London. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New London. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home 12 Ocean Avenue New London.
