Viola Mae Paschal Loller, 84 years old, passed away on December 8, 2017, in DeSoto, Texas, where she had lived for 55 years.

Vi was born on October 23, 1933, in Paducah, Texas, to Oscar and Margaret Paschal. She was the second oldest of ten children. She married Charles Loller on July 2, 1954. He has been very supportive throughout her illness.

Vi was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in many church callings throughout her life - teacher of children, nursery leader, and teacher and leader in the women's organization.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, researching family history, and spending time with her family - especially the grandchildren.

Vi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles; her two daughters, Phyllis Kuhre (John) and Cherry Johnson (Rory); her six grandchildren, April Johnson, Jeremy Kuhre (Melody), Brandon Kuhre (Jessica), Nathan Johnson (Brooklyn), Dana Johnson, and Holly Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Seth Abel, Carter Kuhre, Logan Kuhre, and Harley Richards; two brothers, Bill and Jackie, and a sister, Rita.

Funeral services for Viola, are scheduled on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 12:00 noon at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas. Burial will follow the service.
