The Lord called his daughter, Virginia Dianne “D” Lintz home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the age of 60. She passed away suddenly but peacefully in her sleep. “D” was born on August 28, 1954, in Meridian, Mississippi, to Tommy and Nettie Crocker. She married Norman Edmund “Ed” Lintz thirty-six years ago and they had a great love for one another that endured no matter the hard times life brought their way. D and Ed loved traveling in their younger years. Ed took her to Israel, where D was able to live her dream of being baptized in the Jordan River. Their love will last an eternity. She loved playing Risk, Uno and video games with her family that sometimes lasted until dawn. D loved to laugh and joke with everyone. If she did not give you a hard time, she didn’t like you. She also loved her Lord and Savior beyond measure.

D is preceded in death by her mother and father.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Ed Lintz; her sister she loved and cared for like a daughter, Tena Crocker (Jerry Glaeser); sister, Georgia (Sam) Herriot, who she had a tremendous love and bond; brother, David Crocker, who she loved dearly; nephews, Gregory (Gypsy) Crocker, Lucas (Leah) Crocker, Tommy (Ruben) Crocker, Daniel Herriot and Andrew Glaeser; nieces, Sarah (Brandon) Crocker, Katheryn (Jamie) Herriot and Christi Herriot all of which she had a wonderful and unique relationship throughout their lives; sister in heart, Elizabeth (Charlie) Haire; dear friends, Judy and Pam; and her friend that meant the world to her, Terri Henderson. D is also survived by several great nieces; nephews; countless cousins; brothers-in-law and sisters-in law; six step-children; numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and also Aunt Norma.
