Vivian Dean was born on July 23, 1928 to Samuel L. Dean and Althea Mary Dean in Washington, D.C. She grew up in the D.C./Maryland area where she later met and then married Alvarado Beasley. They relocated to New York, where she gave birth to Renie and Debra Linda. They moved to Los Angeles, California in 1953 to raise their family. They divorced due to economic hardship and a few years later Vivian Beasley married Kermel Johnson. They would have 2 sons together, Malcolm and Ellery before their marriage dissolved after nearly 9 years. Vivian Johnson married a third time, to Zelman Sanders; they had no children and divorced a few years later. She worked for many years with the Department of Water and Power as a clerk before she retired. Upon retirement, she traveled the world a bit, and then moved back to Maryland to care for her sister who was terminally ill. After her sister passed, Vivian moved to Las Vegas, South Carolina, and back to Maryland. It can be said that she did her best to be of help to her family. Vivian Sanders died peacefully in her sleep, and went to be with the Lord at the age of 89 on November 21, 2017. Vivian was battling Dementia, and recently entered into Hospice Care.
