Wendell C. "Robbie" Robinson, 86, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his home.

He was born March 12, 1923 in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Francis A. Robinson and Alice Depuey Robinson, and was also preceded in death by one sister Diane Weaver.

He leaves the love of his life and soulmate Barbara of Hot Springs Village, and his children, Lisa and husband Rick of Bellingham, WA, Keith, Sadler and his wife Gina, Mary Anne and husband Willie all of Memphis, TN, and Perry and wife Missy of Kansas City, Mo. He also leaves one sister Janice Burns of Des Moines, Iowa. And the added joys of his life, his 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Ashley, Claire, Jackson, Libby and Branden.

Robbie was a retired Air Force Pilot serving in WW II and Korea, then the Tennessee Air National Guard. He was also an Insurance Broker having attained the designation of C.L.U. and Ch FC.and was a lifetime underwriter.

Robbie was member of the Thursday Morning Kiwanis Club. He was an avid golfer having played on high school, USC College and on the Air Force Golf teams. He was well know in the golfing community, and envied by many for his feat of having had 7 holes in one. Still playing, until failing health, he often shot his age.

A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later time in Memphis, Tennessee.

Arrangements are under the direction of CedarVale Funeral Home of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
