Wilbur Leo "Will" Schaetzl, 90, of Ocala, passed away March 29, 2012. Born in Astoria, Long Island, New York, he came to this area in 1978 from Bethpage, Long Island, New York. Mr. Schaetzl was a US Army Veteran of WWII, retired engineer for the Lundy Electronics Corp., a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview and a Life Member of D.A.V Chapter #113 Ocala. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen; daughters, Judith Stone and husband, Dr. Richard Stone of New City, NY, Carol Rossi and husband, Roberto of Roseville, CA and Susan Anzalone and husband, Paul of Huntington, NY; grandchildren, James and Jonathan Anzalone, Jessica Rossi and Benjamin Stone. Visitation will be held at ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES, Bruce Chapel East (2739 SE Maricamp Rd., Ocala 732-9944) on Wednesday (April 4th) from 9-11AM with Funeral Services to follow at 11AM. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell at 2:30PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to either the D.A.V. or Wounded Warriors.
