Wilbur Ray "Buster" Campbell, 88, passed away peacefully on July 9. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 62 years, Joyce, children Scott and Lori, their spouses Leslie and Neil,
grandchildren Casey, Ariane, Breya and Jaron, sisters Mary Irene and Edna Earl, and brother in law Jeral. Buster was devoted to his wife and family and enjoyed square dancing, boating,
fishing, camping and gardening. Born in Ponce de Leon, FL, Buster served in the US Navy and upon honorable discharge attended Florida State University, graduating with a Masters in
Accounting. While attending FSU, Buster met a young lady from Westville FL. who became the love of his life and later his wife of more than 62 years. After marriage, Buster and Joyce lived
briefly in Pensacola before moving to Tallahassee for good. Buster was a Certified Public Accountant and worked for the Office of the Auditor General, State of Florida, until his retirement.
Buster enjoyed his retirement years and provided support for his wife, who continued her career in education, his children and their families. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers please
donate to the charity of your choice. Please keep in mind, Buster would want you to research and be sure the charity you choose devotes the majority of contributions to its cause and not to
administration costs.
