William Clinton McNeice the son of Horashel and Lois (Patmor) McNeice was born July 3, 1920 on a farm in Jewell County, Kansas. He departed this life on Saturday, February 25, 2012 the Heritage Care Center, in Red Cloud, Nebraska at the age of 91 years. Bill grew up on the farm in Jewell county, KS. Bill served his country during World War II enlisting in the Army on October 9, 1946 and served in the European Theatre of Operations, he was honorably discharged. Bill was united in marriage to Loretta "Bernice" Doyle on May 25, 1946 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Red Cloud. The couple farmed in Jewell County Kansas for many years until retirement and moved to Red Cloud in 1985. Bill was a member of the Sacred Heath Catholic Church, Red Cloud. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Bernice on July 25, 2011, and a brother Robert. Survivors include his brother John McNeice of Cottage Grove, OR; and 11 nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., March 1, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Red Cloud with Rev. Paul Frank officiating. The rosary was recited Wednesday 7:30 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Red Cloud.
