William C. Binzer, 84, of Mason Neck Va. and Tampa/St Petersburg FL., passed away
peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2017 with his family at his side. He was the son of Henry
and Harriet Binzer of Chicago Illinois. He is survived by his five children, Gregory (Margie)
Binzer, Dr. Ellen (Jim) Jenkins, Dr. Randy (Tennie) Binzer, Peggy Binzer, and William W. (Darlene)
Binzer, 12 grandchildren, two great grand children, and his brother, Don Binzer (Maureen) and
their five children. He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 57 years, Lenore
Rita Binzer.
William went to Saint George High School in Chicago Ill., where he played the accordion in a
band with Bob Mersch on the drums, and Dick Hansen on the guitar. He attended Loyola
University, the Loyola University School of Dentistry, and St Louis University Orthodontic
Residency Program.
William served in the Air Force for 24 years and achieved the rank of Colonel, as a dentist and
orthodontist. After retirement from the military he worked as an orthodontist in Oxon Hill MD,
and Alexandria Virginia. He enjoyed golf, travel, photography, playing the accordion, and a
good joke. He was blessed with many good friends wherever he went and cared for them
deeply, but family always came first.
William Binzer was the Patriarch of our family. He is loved, he will be missed, but never
forgotten.
