Bill was born August 16, 1928 to the late Oscar and Daisy Clark. He attended Central High School, Jackson; VMI, Lexington, VA; and graduated at Millsaps College, Jackson, MS. He was the Founder and President of Observa-Dome Labs, Jackson, manufacturer of observatory domes & tracking shelters, in use worldwide. Bill was an avid pilot, and a founding member of the MS Soaring Association. Other interests include reading, baseball, astronomy, sailing and fishing. He also enjoyed a second home in Pass Christian, MS, for 26 years prior to Hurricane Katrina. He attended St. Stephens Reformed Episcopal Church in Flowood, and formerly served as Sr. Warden.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carol Ransom Clark, Jackson; daughters Melanie McNeel (Niles), Louisville; Carol Hammond (Lee), Jackson; son Randy Clark, Jackson; grandchildren Jason McNeel, Ridgeland; Taylor McNeel, Ocean Springs; Caroline Hearnsberger, Starkville; Peter Hammond, Jackson; Andrew Hammond, Jackson; and two great grandchildren.
