Zofia Pituch, 96, of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Kazimierz Pituch, to whom she was married for 69 years, passed away on February 1, 2017. She was born July 10, 1920, in Bukowsko, Poland. She is survived by a son, Jozef, and three daughters, Henryka, Barbara and Mary. She has one remaining sibling, her brother Stanislaw Pastuszak in Gorlice, Poland. She has numerous family & friends in Poland and in the U.S.. (She has 37 godchildren alone.) She was an avid bowler & loved all her bowling friends. She was a great reader. Zofia's fun loving, witty & generous spirit will be greatly missed. She will be tremendously missed by her loving family, to whom she brought joy every day. A Mass of Christian Burial, in Polish, will be Celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 10 a.m., at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, 61 Popieluszko Court, Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to SS.
